What is Star Point?

Star Point is Link Computer Technologies' exclusive loyalty rewards program designed to reward our valued customers for every purchase they make — online or in-store across all 20+ Link Computer Technologies locations in Bangladesh.

Every time you shop with Link Computer Technologies, you earn Star Points that can be redeemed for discounts on future purchases. The more you shop, the more you earn.

Star Points are linked to your registered Link Computer Technologies account. You must be logged in or provide your registered phone number at the time of purchase to earn and redeem points.

This policy governs the earning, redemption, expiry, and management of Star Points. Last updated: April 2026.

Earning Star Points

You earn 1 Star Point for every BDT 100 spent on eligible purchases at Link Computer Technologies, both online and in-store.

Points are credited to your account within 24 hours of a confirmed and delivered order. For in-store purchases, points are credited instantly upon successful payment.

Star Points are earned on the net purchase amount after any discounts or coupons have been applied. Points are not earned on shipping charges, EMI processing fees, or taxes.

Bonus point events are held periodically during special sales, festivals, and product launches where you can earn 2x, 3x, or even 5x Star Points on eligible purchases.

Corporate account holders and bulk buyers may be eligible for special Star Point multipliers. Contact our corporate sales team for details.

Membership Tiers

Star Point membership has four tiers: Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Elite. Your tier is determined by the total Star Points earned in a calendar year.

Silver (0–499 points): Standard earning rate of 1 point per BDT 100. Access to member-only deals and early sale notifications.

Gold (500–1,999 points): Earn 1.25 points per BDT 100. Priority customer support and exclusive Gold member offers.

Platinum (2,000–4,999 points): Earn 1.5 points per BDT 100. Free standard delivery on all online orders and Platinum-exclusive flash sales.

Elite (5,000+ points): Earn 2 points per BDT 100. Dedicated account manager, VIP event invitations, and first access to new product launches.

Tier status is reviewed and updated at the start of each calendar year based on points earned in the previous year.

Redeeming Star Points

Star Points can be redeemed for discounts on eligible purchases at Link Computer Technologies. A minimum of 100 Star Points is required to initiate a redemption.

1 Star Point = BDT 1 discount on your purchase. You may redeem up to 20% of the total purchase value using Star Points in a single transaction.

To redeem points online, log in to your Link Computer Technologies account and select 'Use Star Points' at checkout. For in-store redemption, provide your registered phone number to the billing staff.

Star Points cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred to another account, or used to pay for shipping charges, EMI fees, or government taxes.

Redemption is final and cannot be reversed once a transaction is completed. Partial redemptions are allowed — unused points remain in your account.

Points Expiry

Star Points are valid for 12 months from the date they are earned. Points that are not redeemed within this period will expire automatically.

You will receive an email and SMS notification 30 days before your points are set to expire, reminding you to use them before they lapse.

Making a purchase within the 12-month window resets the expiry clock for newly earned points only. Previously earned points retain their original expiry date.

Expired points cannot be reinstated under any circumstances. Link Computer Technologies is not responsible for points lost due to account inactivity or failure to act on expiry notifications.

Non-Eligible Transactions

Star Points are not earned or redeemable on the following transactions:

Purchases made without a registered Link Computer Technologies account or without providing your registered phone number at the time of purchase.

Products purchased using Star Point redemption — you do not earn new points on the discounted portion paid via Star Points.

Gift card and voucher purchases, service charges, delivery fees, and EMI processing fees.

Transactions that are subsequently returned or cancelled — any points earned on returned items will be deducted from your account balance.

Bulk or wholesale purchases not made through the standard retail channel.

Account Management

To participate in the Star Point program, you must have a registered Link Computer Technologies account with a verified mobile number and email address.

You can view your Star Point balance, transaction history, and tier status by logging into your account on the Link Computer Technologies website or mobile app.

Each customer is entitled to one Star Point account. Creating duplicate accounts is prohibited and may result in forfeiture of all accumulated points.

If you change your registered phone number, please update your account immediately to avoid losing access to your points. Contact our support team for assistance.

Link Computer Technologies reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Star Point account if fraudulent activity, misuse, or violation of these terms is detected.

Program Changes

Link Computer Technologies reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Star Point program at any time, with or without prior notice.

Changes to earning rates, redemption values, tier thresholds, or expiry rules will be communicated via email, SMS, and our website at least 14 days before taking effect where practicable.

Link Computer Technologies is not liable for any losses incurred as a result of changes to the Star Point program, including but not limited to changes in point values or program termination.

In the event of program termination, customers will be given a reasonable period to redeem outstanding points before they are voided.
